Our counsellors are Andrea Hawkins and Julie Watkins. We are qualified counsellors with several years of experience in working across a range of issues with individuals and organisations. We are person-centred and work integratively, which means we incorporate a number of therapeutic approaches in order to be most helpful to you and your needs.
We both trained for a Diploma in Counselling at Bristol University and we also belong to our professional body, the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. We make sure that we work to their code of ethics which protects you as a client. We also have regular supervision which enables us to review our work with you and makes sure we do no harm. In addition, we work hard at continuing our training and personal development to enhance the service we can offer you.
Our interview rooms in Nailsworth are relaxing and discreet and provide a safe, confidential space for you to explore your issues with counsellors who are caring and supportive and will not tell you what to do but help you to find your own way.
